We desire to provide our women with the opportunities to fulfill our call to “love our neighbors as ourselves.” We encourage you to serve Covenant in its various ministries, and we encourage you to consider these following opportunities as well:
Salvation Army Dinners | Monthly meals are prepared and serve at our local Salvation Army Shelter in Harrisonburg. This is a great opportunity for you, your spouse, your home group, or a group of ladies to demonstrate the love of Christ through a tangible meal. Please contact Barbara Broome (540-234-9798).
Tea Ministry | We plan special tea times throughout the year as a way of honoring, serving and thanking a variety of women in our church for all they do for God’s people. If you would like to serve in this way to others, please contact Vicki Wickenheiser (540-434-7070).
Stock the Freezer | Four times a year we gather in the church to create and prepare frozen meals for those in our church who need them. If you take joy in food prep and want to connect with us. Facilitated by Rebecca Jalbert and Kellie Grathwol.
